INGREDIENTS
1 Giannone Whole Organic Chicken. At Savenor’s, chickens are Certified Humane, antibiotic-free.
1 TB Salt
5 TB Savenor's Roasted Chicken Rub. We use this rub everyday here at Savenor's for our rotisserie chickens. A perfect balance of French herbs and Mediterranean spices.
1 Lemon
STEP 1
Pre-heat the oven to 400 F. Combine the salt and the Savenor's Roasted Chicken Rub.
STEP 2
Cover the chicken generously inside and out with the seasoning mixture.
STEP 3
Cut the lemon in half. Squeeze half of the lemon on top of the whole while and the other half should be placed inside of the chicken cavity.
STEP 4
Roast the whole chicken on a baking rack or on a bed of vegetables in the oven at 400F for 1 hours and 25 minutes or until the chicken reads 165 F at the thickest part of the bird (normally the inner thigh)
