Our Philosophy: Best artisinal farming and doing the right things consistently, regardless of time and cost.

Savenor's Farm-To-Table ProjectTHE SAVENOR’S PROMISE:
1. Taste is our passion
2. Seek out the best and the rest will follow
3. Quality supercedes quantity
4. Fresh, never frozen
5. Unquestionable trust with farmer and chef
6. Relentless care for our customers
7. Unwavering standards of quality
8. Our backbone is integrity
9. What is good for the animal is good for the farmer
10. Know the names of our farmers’ children and grandchildren

Taste is everything. It leaves the impression. It makes a reputation. It cannot be compromised under any circumstances. Doing so would undermine the very essence of good food.

farmer-to-butcherMost restaurants like to say they use a farm to table process, but do they really? Do they know where their meat and poultry actually come from? Do they know the farmer who raises, breeds and processes the stock? Do they know their wives’ and children’s birthdays? Do they share the same Passion for artisanal farming of care, quality & integrity? For unspeeded, totally natural growth & aging to the highest standards, Savenor’s is committed to supporting the highest quality breeding, raising, feeding & butchering. To ensure that all animals are treated with a farmer’s loving touch and absolute best care, working with local farms that have been operating for generations, and generations to come.

The Savenor’s Farm to Table Project is a real farm-to-table partnership, it makes a difference in the lives of small production farmers and most importantly you can be assured it is truly the best quality meat that you can buy. That is our guarantee. Today Savenor’s provides meats to 21of the top 50 restaurants recognized by the Best of Boston. Chefs that put a premium on TASTE know that it all starts with who you select as a provider of the highest quality meats. We are a 3-generation old school butcher & we learned at a young age that no meat can rise above its origins. This is the Savenor’s pledge.

Our Farms“Through the years I’ve made some good friends. Some of them I depend on to feed my family and in turn, to feed theirs. Sounds like a good deal. right? WELL, IT IS. In fact, these friends are so vital to what I do that I had to include them in this website. It’s how my father did things, and his father, too. The secret to sucess, they said, is to always work with THE BEST PEOPLE WHO MAKE THE BEST PRODUCTS. The rest will come easy.”
