Bourbon Barrel Aged Sauces! As seen on the cooking channel “Foodcrafters” show

Bourbon makes everything better according to Bourbon Barrel Foods. They are getting noticed around the country for their unique crafting and spectacular flavors. These will be perfect on your table or to gift to your favorite sauce connoisseur!

Lets start with Bourbon Barrel Aged Worcestershire Sauce. It  is a unique take on the traditional all-purpose seasoning. They developed a sauce that utilizes the flavors of Kentucky’s Bourbon country. It’s sweetened with sorghum, blended with pure Kentucky limestone spring water, and mellowed in bourbon barrels that were used to age some of the Bluegrass State’s finest Bourbons. It also is vegetarian and contains no anchovies.

Centered is the Kentucky Style Teriyaki.  It’s sweetened with sorghum, flavored with bourbon, and seasoned with fresh ginger and garlic. Use it as a marinade for any meat or add it to stir fry. It’s vegetarian!

Their soy sauce is microbrewed in small batches using only whole Kentucky grown Non-GMO soybeans, soft red winter wheat, and the purest limestone filtered Kentucky spring water. They ferment and age the soybean mash in re-purposed bourbon barrels. It’s smoky and brothy with hints of oak and a mild sweetness reminiscent of fine Kentucky bourbon.

Ron Savenor starring as the “Turduckenator” tonight on Chronicle 7pm Channel 5!

Anthony Everett came by and learned how Ron Savenor handcrafts his authentic “New England Turduckens”

He starts with a de-boned fresh Massachusetts turkey and then layers fresh Connecticut Moulard Duck, Rhode Island Chicken and housemade savory sausage stuffing.

Turduckens are authetically American and Savenor’s  are authentically handcrafted! They are also delicious!

Happy Tuesday!

Hello All!  Hopefully everyone survived the weekend’s storms with minimal damage.

For this Tuesday, we’ve got a NYT recipe for a minimalist Inside-Out Lamb Persillade which makes great use of a lamb leg as well as the fresh parsley and rosemary that are popping up right about now.

Lastly, there’s a YouTube video floating about of Tom Daly from the Boston Store.
